For the management and recovery of threatened species it is important to know the habitat the species makes use of. Through this site you can investigate the associations of species with different vegetation communities in NSW as described in Keith (2004).

The vegetation communities are shown at two levels, broad groups called vegetation formations and more defined communities, found within vegetation formations, called vegetation classes.
